Peter, also known as ‘Digger’ to some, has dabbled with music since his teenage dreams of being David Bowie’s guitarist. Unsurprisingly overlooked, music then played second fiddle (not literally) to his professional career in environmental stuff until 2014. Since then, he has been supporting the Winnall Rock School in Winchester and delivering music / songwriting sessions in youth club, hospice, older persons’ home and school situations. He also gives private music tuition for guitar and ukulele. Peter took the Lifemusic Practitioner's Course in 2015 and found its values and techniques complemented his own passions for being ‘in the music’ and bringing out the musician in everyone. As a self-taught, hard-earned ‘hobby musician’, he appreciates that many people’s potential enjoyment of making music can be easily killed off by ‘wrong notes’ and a self-fulfilling belief that you are just not musical. With Lifemusic, he aims to help people overcome this.
